Louisiana Arbor Day @ Burden & 1000 Tree Giveaway

To cel­e­brate Louisiana Arbor Day, Baton Rouge Green part­ners with the Bur­den Muse­um & Gar­dens’ Arbor Day. The Bur­den team hosts a fes­ti­val of activ­i­ties, tree plant­i­ng and learn­ing at the Bar­ton Arbore­tum (inside the Bur­den com­plex). In addi­tion to the many hor­ti­cul­ture, arbori­cul­ture and nat­u­ral­ist experts and ven­dors inter­act­ing with vis­i­tors, the BRG team gives away 1,000 FREE native/​beneficial trees to atten­dees on a first-come, first-served basis. The trees are grown by the staff and vol­un­teers at Burden.
