Thanks to Annette Barton & Malcolm Tucker, Richard & Claire Manship, Citizens Bank & Trust and LSU for sponsoring our annual Arbor Day Luncheon on January 17 at the LSU Rural Life Museum!

At the luncheon 2020 Board President Tom Easterly helped Executive Director Sage Foley present the Volunteer of the Year award to outgoing president Rawlston Phillips, III (above). Rawlston has served three terms as Board President and been instrumental in growth of the Living Roadways program in recent years. We are so grateful for his devotion to Baton Rouge Green’s mission!

Rawlston Phillips, III

Rawlston and his daughters have been committed “Pickers” (and citrus taste-testers) each year for the City Citrus Pick Event (below). His father, Bubba Phillips, has also been involved with Baton Rouge Green since our inception. Thanks to the entire Phillips clan: three generations of PLANTING IT FORWARD!
