BATON ROUGE GREEN’S CITY CIT­RUS PICK EVENT RESCHED­ULED FOR SAT­UR­DAY, DECEM­BER 15TH

BATON ROUGE, LA – Baton Rouge Green’s fifth annu­al City Cit­rus Pick Event, orig­i­nal­ly sched­uled for Sat­ur­day, Decem­ber 8, is being resched­uled due to inclement weath­er. The event will take place next Sat­ur­day, Decem­ber 15^th. All oth­er times and loca­tions will be the same.

“We don’t want our Pick vol­un­teers on the roads tomor­row morn­ing dur­ing what is pre­dict­ed to be tremen­dous rain­fall and local­ized flood­ing. Luck­i­ly our friends at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank are of the same mind and are hap­py to help push our event to next week,” said Sage Foley, Exec­u­tive Direc­tor of Baton Rouge Green.

The Baton Rouge Green City Cit­rus Pick Event is spon­sored by Lamar Adver­tis­ing and Bofinger’s Tree Ser­vice and ben­e­fits the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
