In addition to our many projects and annual events, Baton Rouge Green administers the following programs:

Living Roadways
Baton Rouge Green has planted thousands of trees at medians and intersections along Baton Rouge's highly traveled roadways. With help from our generous sponsors, The Green Team, we still provide regular maintenance for nearly 5,000 of these trees in roadside green spaces around Baton Rouge.

NeighborWoods
Each year, environmentally underserved neighborhoods are selected to be included in the NeighborWoods program. After meeting with neighborhood residents and discussing their tree canopy needs, we plan a planting event.  Volunteers are recruited and trained to help the residents plant the trees.  The new tree owners receive educational materials and advice on a maintenance regime. Our "Neighborwoods" program has been a huge success.

The Green Light Landscape Program
We provide professional management services to assist the City-Parish with the project management of The Green Light Landscape Program.
